Yay! To my surprise, Quasi have a new album, entitled When The Going Gets Dark, hitting stores March 21st. Upon a few preliminary listens, it's unlike anything I've ever heard from them...very raw, very heavy, lots of "wall of sound" parts to many of these songs, which I actually appreciate coming from a husband/wife duo (think Mates Of State, only more serious and etched in stone). I seriously recommend picking up this album whenever you get the chance, it's truly something special...I'm glad to see Coomes can still produce. While no tour has been announced, you can be sure they'll have a pretty extensive one to back the new album...more details later.
