Vote: Arizona for Artist of The Month!

I love me some Arizona, and if you couldn't tell yet, Connor does too. We're obviously not the only ones since there is more than just a living boy in New York voting the band in for The Deli's (NYC mag) next "Artist of The Month" feature. If you've been digging their latest album, Welcome Back Dear Children, and the songs/excitement we've published on the site then reward the band with some local accolades! They (more than) deserve it.

[WWW] VOTE! - Arizona for Artist of The Month!

[MP3] Arizona - Some Kind Of Chill
[MP3] Arizona - Splintering

Sunday evening is drawing near - I'll be back extremely soon.. if anyone was wondering.

PS. Since I've been outta the loop for the past week, I've been noticing Arcade Fire tracks leaking slowly but surely. That may be wonderful news to many of you, trust me I love Arcade Fire just as much as you guys, but I wonder if it's occurred to many of the leak seekers that Neon Bible is going to be a concept album. Whether you choose to listen to the leaks or not, keep in mind that Win Butler and crew intend for the album to be heard collectively and not one (overly criticized) MP3 at a time.

i think that hearing tracks by leak kinda ruins the experience of the album. I remember that when I first introduced my mom to Dark Side of the Moon, I had to convince her that she had to hear the whole album as a whole, not track by track.

Judging by Nathaniel's dormancy, the fact that there are two writers, and the obvious "posted by" label; my guess is that he didn't but that's his opinion on the whole matter.

i posted the track because i knew people would appreciate it... and those people will probably buy the album too (i hope, at least).

regardless, while I agree that hearing the whole album at once would be a competely different experience, listening to one song by one song as they leak has only intensified the new album for me. it's just growing and growing..

plus, i didn't know it should be considered a "concept album" (not sure if that's a valid statement...anyone got a source?)
