The new PDX Pop Now disc, the fourth in a series of compilations featuring music from Portland-based musicians and bands, will be released tomorrow (June 19th) and features new songs and rarities from such artists as Colin Meloy, Menomena, Mirah, YACHT, 31knots, and The Shaky Hands, the band behind one of the best debuts of the year: the self-titled Shaky Hands LP.
You can pick up a copy of the disc from CD Baby for just seven bucks. That's two quesadillas from Taco Bell. I think you guys can go hungry for a day for a great 2-disc, 40-song compilation. For now, check out this rare track from The Shaky Hands, originally off of an early now out-of-print EP:

Thanks for this one - I loved their album. It has such a Summery, laid-back atmosphere to it.
Fuck The Shaky Hands, they're the reason Shaky Hands (the actual good band) from New Zealand change their name to Cut Off Your Hands! because they're pricks.
no, you're a prick. grow up or fuck off.
