Kudos to the brilliant minds behind Sad Kermit...the attention to detail is very impressive. They even multi-tracked Kermit's vocals just like the original! That reminds me, I need to see the Royal Tenenbaums again to remind myself that, despite Darjeeling, Wes Anderson doesn't suck. He's just lost his way a little.

Go watch Darjeeling again. It very well may be Anderson at his best. It's taught, emotional, beautiful, and aesthetically perfect. It is a new direction for Anderson and it pays off VERY well.
Darjeeling and Life Aquatic were just as great, if not better.

I like how the Anonymous person spent the time to say, "Elliott Smith sucks." That really adds to the conversation.
I agree with the first two posters. Anderson just has a different view of the world than anyone else, and the emotions and visual imagery he's able to invoke are generally stunning.
Darjeeling takes a while to grow on you, but it's fantastic.
As far as Elliott Smith (and this video), I wonder how he would've felt about it. Both surreal and depressing I suppose.
