[Video] Kanye West: "Heartless" + new MP3

Kanye West might not be pleasing the majority of his rap-loving fans with his new dedication to singing (when he doesn't know how) and acting (in the video below). But I have to admit that the unavoidability of hearing his shit repeatedly on the radio has taken its inevitable toll on my ears and mind... I'm starting to "like" it, even though I'm probably just "used to" it. Sigh.

On his blog yesterday, Kanye tossed up new mixes of "Heartless" and "Love Lockdown" and requested that DJs start playing these versions instead. Hopefully these are the final versions that everyone's been waiting for. I have to give it to Kanye, though. While he keeps saying that he didn't leak the songs originally, which is probably a lie, he's picked up a hype shitstorm by putting out version after version of the same mediocre collection of songs.

Is it really that easy? -- It is when you're Yeezy. (watch, he's gonna take that line...)

Kanye also posted the rotoscoped video for "Heartless" which 65 Japanese animators slaved over while lamenting KW's repeated copping of their style and mojo under their breaths. The video isn't bad, not the best use of rotoscoping but still cool in its own ways.

By the way... look how far we've come that we now have the biggest rapper in the world giving away free MP3s on his blog. It's a beautiful thing.
